12 Days Around Morocco

Day 1: Tanger – Fes

On arrival at Airport/Ferry, you have free time to explore this bustling port city that was once the playground of international socialites, including writers, artists, musicians and politicians. (Paul Bowles). The city is a lively, cosmopolitan and historic Mediterranean where you get to explore number of museums and sites. Our itinerary then continues towards Fes. Overnight acocomodation in Hotel/Riad

Day 2: Fes

Breakfast. discovering the imperial city of Fes; we will begin our visit at the golden gates of the royal palace, and then, from a high point, we will contemplate the great wall which encloses the astonishing ancient medina which we will later explore in order to experience the different sensations that the city has to offer. Along the narrow streets we will discover mosques and madrasas until entering the tanners’ quarter where we will witness the leather treatment processes. Rest of the day off. Day 3: Fes – Middle Atlas – Merzouga Desert

Breakfast. We will set off for Midelt via Ifrane – also known as the Moroccan Switzerland; we will stop and rest in the forest of Azrou where we will be able to enjoy watching the monkeys play in their natural habitat, among the millenary cedars, and then we will continue our journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains until reaching Midelt. We will then go through the Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud, from where we will follow a track leading us to the desert and we will travel among the dunes up to the Kasbah

Day 4: Merzouga Desert (SAHARA)

Breakfast. A day reserved for enjoying, revelling and experiencing the desert in its purest form; we will start our day in Hasselabied where we will enter in a palm grove created and looked after by the entire community. We will continue our trip among the dunes and desert tracks passing by Merzouga and we will travel through time when visiting the small village of Khamlia, which is inhabited by nomads from sub-Saharan Africa. Here, we will hear some popular African music Gnawa and the locals will accompany us on a tour of their village. in the evening, we will get on a camel and travel deeper into the heart of the desert and lose ourselves in its immensity with the aim of spending one night under the stars at kHaima, just like the authentic Berber people, with whom we will enjoy their drum music and a typical dinner

Day 5: Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Breakfast. We will wake up early to watch the sunrise in the middle of the desert and we will continue on a road with spectacular panoramic views which encircles the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will have breakfast and rest for a short while in a hotel before heading towards the city of Rissani to enjoy its colourful Souk, we will visit the palm grove of Tafilalet and we will cross the Todra Gorges ending our route in the Dades valley. Overnight acocomodation and dinner in Hotel/Riad

Day 6: Dades Valley- Nomad Atlas – Route of 1000 Kasbahs – Ouarzazate

Breakfast. We will start our day-tour early by crossing the Atlas Mountains where we will discover the nomadic inhabitants who are still living in caves just like in the past, and then we will lose ourselves among the perfumes valley of roses and the Skoura palm grove and its kasbahs until reaching Ouarzazate. Overnight acocomodation and dinner in Hotel/Riad

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech


Breakfast. We will spend our morning visiting the fortified village of Ait ben Haddou, famous for having been the scene of important films like Gladiator, among others; after lunch, we will continue our journey through the Atlas Mountains and the Telouet valley to finally reach Marrakech. Overnight acocomodation in Hotel/Riad

Day 8: Marrakech (Exploring)

Breakfast. In the morning, we will go out to enjoy a tour of the city, visiting the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque and the Saadies tombs in an enchanting walk along the alleys of the medina, merging into the crowd until reaching the Bahia’s palace and its beautiful gardens and ending in the famous Jmaa el Fnaa square. Overnight acocomodation in Hotel/Riad

Day 9: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Casablanca

Breakfast. We will start the day heading towards the Ouzoud Falls located northeast of Marrakech, and once having reached this natural paradise we will devote out time to enjoy this country’s most famous cascades. In the afternoon, we will continue towards Casablanca. Overnight acocomodation in Hotel/Riad

Day 10: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchouen

Breakfast. We will set off in the morning to enjoy a panoramic view of the United Nations Square and the exterior of the Mosque Hassan II which stands by the sea. We will continue our journey towards the municipality of Rabat, visiting the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and we will end our day in the famous blue village of Chefchaouen. Overnight acocomodation in Hotel/Riad


Day 11: Chefchaouen

Breakfast. Day off to relax and enjoy the white and indigo blue city, with its winding alleys and beautiful natural surroundings. Overnight acocomodation in Hotel/Riad


Day 12: Chefchaouen – Tangier Airport/Ferry

Depart at any time to Tanger airport/Ferry.
